...and I should be working anyway so relaxing isn't an option.
I forgot my sunburn screen the other day and got a good dose of sunburn when out fishing so I'm peeling like mad. Today is hot and very sunny and sitting in the garden is agony as the new pink skin gets exposed to the sun. Even sitting under a parasol is uncomfortable
The online store was finally operational yesterday and whilst I was putting a test order through to check that the payment gateway was working properly I got a real order... I think I can say it works fine !!! But - there's still a lot of work to do. There are products missing, several product descriptions missing, tweaks to be made on layout, and some prices need revising.
Also my daughter is about to open a new chiropodist's clinic in Bournemouth and I'm playing around with design for flyers, leaflets, website, etc. I have to balance my loathing for serif fonts with her love of them, and her desire for colour photos with my knowledge of the printing costs involved...
So - (when I was at school I was told never to start sentences with "and", "so" or "but" - the blog has done all three!).
So back to relaxation, or the inability to do it. I want to take a laptop into the garden accompanied by ice-cold cider and a few nibbles. Instead I'm sat semi-clothed in my office with all windows wide open to catch the breeze (can't be bothered to turn on the fans) with multiple screens up on the PC working on three things at one - plus writing this blog post.
Wish it was winter
